Liberal Judge Will Not Perform Gay Marriages

According to the Olympian, Thurston County Judge Gary Tabor will not be performing gay weddings due to religious reasons. In the past, he has performed traditional weddings while refusing to do jail weddings. He knows the law and he can do this. We commend him for this. He graduated from a Christian college but we don’t know if he is a professing Christian – our experience is that he is a liberal, big government judge.

Even small town bureaucracy has become unhinged. Dalton Gardens is a small town of less than 2400 people, just north of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. It consists largely of horse-acre ranches and five acre tracts. Even in this cozy environment there are bureaucrats willing to waste taxpayer money for the sake of intimidating one of their people.
